Ryco Labs LLC (“we”, “us”) builds small, single-purpose utility apps (each an “App”). This policy explains how our Apps handle information.
The short version
Our Apps run on your device, don’t require an account, and don’t collect personal information for our own use. We don’t show ads and don’t track you across other apps or websites.
Information we handle
- On-device settings. Preferences (e.g., theme, progress) are stored locally on your device and are not sent to us.
- Purchases & subscriptions. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google and by our subscription provider, RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app-user identifier, your transaction/subscription status, and basic device information to deliver and restore your purchase. We never receive your card details. (RevenueCat privacy)
- Diagnostics / analytics. If an App uses analytics, it collects only anonymous, aggregated usage events (e.g., “feature opened”) to improve the App — never linked to your identity and never sold.
We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, photos, or microphone, and our Apps request no such permissions unless explicitly stated on the App’s store listing.
Children
Our Apps are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region) and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Your choices & rights
Because we hold little or no personal data, there is little to access or delete — but if you are in the EEA/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA), you may request access to or deletion of any data associated with you, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights. Contact us at hello@rycolabs.com. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple or Google account settings.
Service providers
Apple, Google, and RevenueCat process limited data on our behalf to operate the app stores and subscriptions, bound by their own privacy terms.
Security & retention
We retain purchase records only as long as needed to provide and support your subscription, relying on Apple’s, Google’s, and RevenueCat’s security practices.
Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date above will change.
